Great knowledge of everything that is in her country, best tour guide ever!

I came to New Zealand completely unprepared. I knew the top 3 or 4 things I wanted to do and how much I wanted to spend and that was about it. LUCKILY, I had Chase as a guide. She was so gracious enough to help with sincere recommendations on where to go, what to see (all on the fly), what not see and went out of her way to help us stay entertained if the weather didn’t cooperate, even hung out on her personal time.

With Chase we got so much more than what we were expecting from a tour company, not just a bus driver! She educated us about her country, the culture, answered all of our silly tourist questions, organized fun social outings with fellow tourists, and even cooked for us one night- and it was good! Really, what a treat this woman is; her passion and pride about her country and her business make her someone I’d recommend over and over. She’s reliable and I trust her, our vacation would have turned out a lot different (not good) if she hadn’t intervened!

My best friend and I had always talked about planning a huge trip abroad, we finally decided on New Zealand and were very excited. We toyed around with the idea of renting a car and driving across the Island as well as getting a tour guide. We both decided it was in our best interest to get a tour guide because we were not great planners or organized. I am so glad we found Sue “Chase” Hughes…she made that trip! I am certain I would have not had the experience I had or develop the love for New Zealand I have if it was not for her. Her love of her country and knowledge is astonishing. What is also great about “Chase” is her charismatic personality and her skill of bringing people together from around the world that do not know each other and getting them to enjoy the trip as a group and bond! I would highly recommend her to anyone and I would go back in a heartbeat and have her be my tour guide again!!!
